Something New: Winter Brights

What better way to make the winter blues more bright than to add a pop of color to your outfit right? As part of my 5 week "Something New" Series this week my #4 key item for fall/winter is winter brights. Think colorful shift dresses, bright colored pants, and stylish statement coats. My other must have items include a blazer, maxi skirt, and something cashmere. Stay tuned next week for my final and 5th key item for fall/winter.

I love this coat and you look stunning in it. I love adding brights to my wardrobe but a coat is not something I would be brave enough to invest in. A long time ago I bought a bright fuscia wool swing coat from Benetton and I loved it until I brought it with me on a trip to France. When I wore it I felt like I was wearing a neon banner that screamed AMERICAN :) I never wore it again.
I've been wanting black leggings like that for quite some time - they look amazing on you! They don't have my size on Piperlime. Hmmm, wonder if I can find them somewhere else....
