Thankful For.....

Family,
Lifestylen
On Sunday evening Aneesh and I took Ariyana to the playground but once we got there she was not interested in playing. Instead, Ariyana found all these leaves and all she wanted to do was collect them. She insisted we take them home (in my bag of course) and put them in a vase with water.
I am always incredibly thankful to spend quality time with my family during Thanksgiving week. But this year Ariyana has reminded me to also be thankful and appreciative of all the simple, natural, and beautiful things surrounding us.

What a little sweetheart. How wonderful to have someone in your life who reminds you to be constantly grateful!

It really is amazing how they get so obsessed with nature and how things work at this age. I always have a small spare basket in the care for V's spontaneous collections.
Isn't it funny how sometimes kids teach you things? When I get worked up about nonsense, I look at a photo of my nieces to remind myself of what's really important! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Naina!
Kids do sometimes help us put things into perspective. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
BTW....Ariyana is a cutie pie!
happy thanksgiving naina! have a wonderful weekend. xo

Kids do that, don't they? Inspire us to slow down and enjoy the little things, to get lost in the moment. Motherhood can be hard, but the way it helps you grow and shapes you... nothing else and noone other than our kids can accomplish it in quite the same way :-)
These photos are so cute, what a beautiful set of images here. I did like the way that Thanksgiving really focused my thoughts on the things I am grateful for this year. Whilst I didn't do the turkey etc, it was a day to reflect and be with loved ones.

She is the sweetest. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Ah, yes, Mama's purse. At this very moment I have a collection of artwork, a rock and a half eaten bag of Pirate's Booty (messiest snack ever). I better go clean it out before tomorrow :)

What a beautiful daughter, and the seasonal touch of the leaves is nice. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I had my first Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, glazed carrots and pumpkin pie made by an American friend here in Paris. Very delicious and I feel grateful that she included me in the celebrations.
