Simmer and Serve

We end up eating many of our meals out on the weekends so by Monday night we are all craving Indian food.  This semi-homemade meal is quickly becoming one of our go to recipes for salmon. If you like Indian food and you're looking for a quick and easy way to make tikka masala at home this dish is for you. This ready made Tikka Masala simmer sauce is full of intense flavors and all you have to do is add fish, chicken, or tofu. I like to top off the dish with some cilantro and serve it with garlic naan and a chopped salad consisting of cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes. And I am still amazed that my 3 year old actually likes and requests salmon for dinner!

I know this brand well! We love Indian in our home. My favorite is saag paneer!

We have been using this for a few years, but find it a little mild, which is great for the kids. Do you have any ideas on how to bump up the heat? Also, Target brand tikka masala sauce is pretty good and about half the price.

@Amy- Sometimes I add a green chili, cumin, and coriander powder to spice things up a bit!. I will have to try the Target version. This one is not too cheap!
