Peacocks and Pleats

Wendy Topslip c/o Show Me Your Mumu, Zara skirt and belt, Stuart Weitzman sandals, Kate Spade clutch

This weekend my parents were visiting from North Carolina and we all had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather in Boston.  On Saturday we had dinner at Toro, one of our favorite dinner spots in Boston, and then we all walked over to my sister's place and hung out on her roof deck for a couple of hours. When we were not out exploring the local restaurants, my sister and I took the opportunity to learn how to make a few of my mom's wonderful recipes. I am hoping I can replicate the recipes and share them with all of you.

On Sunday night Aneesh and I decided to take an evening stroll and we stopped by Stella for a casual dinner at the bar.  After having coconut macaroons at Flour, churros with chocolate sauce at Toro, and pecan pie with vanilla ice cream at Stella this weekend, I am going to have to refrain from eating anything sweet for at least a couple of days!
