    Cocktail Chic: Perfect Party Dresses

The Little Black Dress |  Simple Shift | Flowy and Waist Defining | Touch of Leather  Winter Brights | Peplum | Strapless | High-Low   Embellished | Sequins | Lace | Beads   Maxi | A Touch of Shine | Feminine and Flowy | Navy

Yes it is that time of year again-holiday party season!  From chic and minimalist black dresses to sexy lace and sequin embellished dresses,  there are so many great party dresses to choose from.  I am loving the belted maxi dresses because they are stylish and feminine and also a nice change from the shorter dresses I would usually wear to cocktail and holiday parties.

And inauguration season is coming up here in Washington.  Check out a few of my inauguration fashion and style tips over at The Hill.

I have been steering towards lace and sequin dresses for a couple of occasions this festive season. The maxi dress is a great option too - it's like a minimalised gown - who would have thought!?
