Air Style

With all the weekend air travel I have been doing lately I thought I would share my “Air Style.”
1. Choose dark colors to hide dirt and spills and wear layers to account for temperature fluctuations.
2. Carry an oversized tote for snacks, magazines, gadgets, and all the other necessities.
3. Wear comfortable boots that are easy to take on and off at security. I never pack them because they take up too much space.
4. Bring a cashmere shawl to wear as a stylish scarf and doubles up as a blanket on the airplane.
5. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

The best part of your outfit, the belt. It just changes a smart black travelling outfit into a distinctive style. So you π
You and your little one have got great style! Great recommendations. I'm all about one big bag…not a fan of looking like a bag lady!!
These are always good tips!!! I try to do the same as you when I travel by plain! Next week I am going to England (York) and definetly will be using your tips as a guideline:BTW looking for the same kinds of boots you are wearing!!! A new post coming soon also!!!
Fab air style! I always wear my biggest boots going and coming! LOVE that bag!
Oh, thank you. I just loathe the "I'm on an airplane so I'll wear PJs" attitude. While air travel is doing it's best to destroy any remaining semblance of glamour, it's nice to just take the few extra minutes to wear something comfortable and chic. Side note: My friend Adriane met her (now) husband in the airport at the luggage carousel. It pays to look nice – you never know what's going to happen!
Dark colors and prints…a mama's best friends! Love that jacket!
Great cosy airplane style.
First of all, you both look fantastic and so stylish! Your daughter is a doll! I always love to see what people wear when traveling! Love your tips and I think it's important to still look put together when you're traveling. You can be stylish and comfortable!

Oh my goodness! Your daughter looks so cute! Love the vest and the boots!
And yes – wearing boots (preferably that zip so they're easy to take on and off in the security line) are a must for traveling in the colder months. They take up half your suitcase otherwise!
Loving your blog!

Hi,
Visiting from Monday Mingle. You look like a star mom traveling in that first photo. Love it. I did a post a few weeks back and made the same comment about pashmina shawls during air travel.
Great tips.

Great tips. Of course you look chic while flying too!
love that bag…perfect for traveling!
Such a great tips, my dear. I totally agree that an oversized tote is a must while traveling. Have a great start to the week. Muah
Great tips! I nearly always wear some black leggings, a tunic and black ballet flats when I travel. I want to be comfy without looking like a complete slob π I'm always amazed when I see women full coiffed and teetering around in heels at the airport. I couldn't do it!
