An Impromptu Family Dinner Date
Naina-Loft sunglasses, Missoni blouse, Ann Taylor pencil skirt, Kenneth Cole heels, Anthropologie belt, clutch-gift from mom from India, Madewell necklace worn here as a bracelet
Ariyana-Old Navy dress and Gap sandals
Last night Aneesh called me on the way home from work and said he wanted to go out for an impromptu dinner on the patio at Franklin Cafe. I am always ready and willing to go out for a family dinner during the work week because I don’t have to cook after a long day at work, I have an excuse to dress up, and it is a nice way to break up the monotony of the work week.
Since I was already wearing this blouse and skirt today for work, I just transitioned my look from day to night with the addition of a colorful wide belt, a printed clutch, and a chain necklace. Lately my favorite way to accessorize is to take one of my long necklaces and wear it as a wrap bracelet.
And while we were waiting for our table a little somebody peeked in my clutch and found my new Chanel rouge coco shine.

Little girls are so cute 🙂 The best way to keep my daughter out of mischief is to give her my make-up bag or accessory kit. She has learnt to play without making a mess (after numerous blow-ups by me).
She is tooo cute! Love your bracelets … Weekday Dates are the best!!!

You should totally do a series on day to night outfit transitions. You make it look effortless. Husband and I have been dining out a lot more lately, mainly because I refuse to cook in this heat.
