    Currently Read’N

One of my goals this year is to read more so for the month of April and May I am reading Catching Fire, Simplicity Parenting, and By Invitation Only on the Kindle and IPad. But I decided to order a hard copy of Parisian Chic because I love displaying style/fashion books in my home office. I also like referring back to these types of books so it so much easier to do that with the actual book in hand. I have not started By Invitation Only yet but so far the other books are hard to put down!

I also love getting recommendations from readers so tell me what are you reading now?

(Special thanks to Torrie for recommending Simplicity Parenting. Graphic design by Kirsten for STYLE’N.)

reading 4 books at a time is impressive! i prefer to dive in one at a time and plow through them. i gave my bf The Gods of Gotham for his birthday and he loved it!

Awesome…and it is so good if friends can suggest some good reads…..

You have to give a review on the "Parisian chic" and the "By invitation only"……I am reading a fiction "cutting for stone"…..

@Lisa-I know a bit crazy but I think i am playing catch up since I have not read a ton of books lately and there are so many books I want to read right now!

@Lakshmi-Yes I was thinking the same thing. So far Parisian Chic is such a fun and informative read. I highly recommend it and seriously reading it makes me want to go to Paris again.

@Torrie-no I have not heard of Bloom but I am looking it up. You usually have amazing book recommendations so I am sure this is a great one too!

@Sami-I can't believe I have not read Breakfast at Tiffany's either. I might add this to my reading list for 2012. Thanks for sharing.

Parisian Chic has become my bible. I lived in Paris for years and still learned so much from the book. I had Inès de la Fressange sign my copy when she came to New York and I even got the 2012 calendar that was published in France. Glad you enjoy that read!

Rhea just turned three and along with it, came her terrifying three behavior! I'm clearly at the stage where I need additional guidance and was looking at Simplicity Parenting… I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it….
