Mixing Primary Colors

Twist-Neck Shell Blouse-Limited, No.2 Pencil Skirt -J.Crew, Sandals-Stuart Weitzman, Red belt-Loft (here), Blue neon belt-Ann Taylor, Necklace-Amrita Singh
Lately I have been getting inspiration for my outfits from the colorful art work Ariyana has been working on. She loves mixing bright colors together so I thought I would try mixing the primary colors blue, red, and yellow and come up with a fun and playful outfit. I admit wearing this much color is not usually my style but every so often it is a nice to try something new right?
And this is going to be a busy but fun week because Ariyana and I are heading to Boston for a few days to visit my sister and brother in law and I cannot wait to spend time with them and meet up with several of my closest girlfriends while I am there.

What a lovely outfit Naina. It's something I wouldn't have thought of – putting primary colors together – in clothes. I am in love with the skirt. It's a great cut, length and in my favorite color too. Great images – I love the effect!

Naina, I think the brights look great on you and it's done subtly so it still looks like "you"! Looking forward to seeing you this week.
