Shorts + Sequins

This is the first summer in a very long time that I have actually put on a pair of shorts. Shorts are really just not my thing and I have always preferred wearing skirts and dresses. But now that we live in the Washington D.C. area and I have to endure the ridiculously hot summers I am quickly changing my opinion of shorts. I love dresssing up shorts so for dinner out I wore these off white cotton shorts paired up with a fun black sequin tank. It really is the perfect outfit for a hot and humid summer evening. I am also really loving simple and classic outfits consisting of just black and white or off white.
I am off to Boston again for a quick two day trip to visit family and friends. Have a wonderful weekend and see you here next week!

i got a pair of shorts at a swap a few weeks back and i actually don't hate them! glad you're also trying alternatives to skirts and dresses 😉
