    Something Old and Something New

This week is Restaurant Week in Boston so several of my girlfriends and I got together last night for dinner at Sibling Rivalry in the South End.  It was nice catching up with everyone and of course it was a great excuse to get all dressed up on a Wednesday evening. I decided to wear this black lace maxi skirt which will also be a great piece to transition from summer to fall. I also wore these Stuart Weitzman sandals I scored on sale at Bloomingdales last week.

And the last time I visited my mom she gave my sister and me several pieces of her vintage jewelry. This necklace (worn as a bracelet) and gold ring were both given to her over 40 years ago by her family when she got married.  I treasure and adore these items because they are sentimental and they are pieces I can pass on to Ariyana when she gets older.

Millau blouse, Kimchi Blue skirt, Stuart Weitzman heels, Calypso clutch, Ann Taylor belt, Nail polish-Essie Carrie On (part of the new Fall 11 collection)

You look gorgeous! Love the beautiful dress…but really crushing on the accessories. TOTAL sucker for vintage jewelry…and love how you wore it.
Stuart's are my favs…he just does shoes SO right- and I always find them to be relatively comfortable for 5 inch heels, no? Lastly..that clutch is BEYOND. I am in the market for an oversized clutch….so pretty- and a great neutral color for sure.
Hope you had a great time!

Those coin jewels are stunning. Lucky lady to have such a stylish mama!! Funny, the last time I went to Sibling Rivalry was during rest. week too a few years ago. It's hard for me to judge a place based on rest week though, so might be worth another visit.
